When will programs start?

We will run 2 eight-week sessions in 2025. A spring session from May 8 - July 5, and a fall session from September 11 - November 8. The spring session will have a “track” focus and the fall session will emphasize cross-country.

How many times a week will practices be “run”?

We will meet twice a week for in-person sessions, but will provide a general program encouraging kids to run on their own time one or two other times.

Are your coaches certified?

All of our coaches are registered with Athletics Ontario and have completed Athletics Ontario SafeSport and Respect in Sport training. In addition, our head coach is an NCCP certified coach. All active coaches are working towards furthering their NCCP certification levels.

What ages will be able to join?

In alignment with the school cross-country programs, our program will start with children in grade 4 through high school. We also encourage parents and adults to join in the fun!

Children in grade 3 and under can register, but we ask a parent to register along with them to help out.

Will there be races?

Although not required, we will plan the spring program building to a road and/or trail race at the end of the 8 weeks. The fall program will be built around the cross country racing calendar, culminating in the provincial championships at the end of October.
